Robotics, automation and artificial intelligence instead of maths, German and geography: around 400 lower and upper secondary school pupils delved deep into the technologies of the future at the second LET'S TECH Day on 24 May in Vienna. The winners of the LET'S TECH video competition were also announced as part of the event.
The varied hands-on stations and workshops at the LET'S TECH Day organised by the Austrian Electrotechnical Association (OVE) generated a great deal of enthusiasm among the participants. They were able to programme a robot arm together, control robot balls with a tablet and experience first-hand what innovative technologies can do. Young role models gave an insight into their areas of work and could be interviewed.
