The scientific conference organized by the LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen will take place on 26 and 27 September 2024 at Gut Brandlhof in Saalfelden. Under the motto "Light Metals Innovations for Environmental and Economic Sustainability", we offer a central platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge between research and industry.

This year you can expect exciting keynotes from renowned experts:

  • Dr. Werner Fragner (AMAG Austria Metall AG): "All AI or what?"
  • DI Christian Vogl (Magna): "Megatrends driving the evolution of mobility"
  • Prof. Randi Holmestad (Norwegian University of Science and Technology): "Advanced TEM studies of precipitation in aluminum alloys"

Our comprehensive program includes three sessions with a total of 25 presentations covering topics such as digitalization in the context of circularity, sustainable process development and innovative light metals. For the first time, we are offering simultaneous translation (German/English) for all presentations.

Join us and take the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading experts and discuss innovative solutions to the challenges facing the industry. We look forward to your participation!
