13.06.2024
Three AIT presentations for interdisciplinary exchange and forward-looking solutions in healthcare.

The Austrian Health Forum (AHF), one of the most renowned events in the healthcare sector, took place in Schladming from 24 to 26 June 2024. The forum brings together leading experts from various disciplines to discuss current challenges and develop innovative solutions. A particular highlight of this year's event was the practical workshops, in which specific topics were explored in depth and developed further together. The AIT Digital Health Team from the Center for Health and Bioresources was part of the Health Fund Styria joint stand.

The Austrian Health Forum is a central platform that promotes dialogue between various players in the healthcare system in Austria. The aim of the forum is to develop innovative solutions for current and future challenges in the healthcare system through interdisciplinary dialogue. Participants include doctors, nurses, health economists and health policy representatives. The event offers a variety of lectures, discussions and workshops that enable participants to gain new insights and discuss practical approaches.

AIT topics at the AHF

The AIT Digital Health Team once again played a central role at this year's AHF. Angelika Rzepka, Klaus Donsa and Günter Schreier contributed their extensive expertise to various workshops. These focused on "Multi-professional collaboration for the patient through data use: from 1450 to the Patient Summary", with a focus on optimising collaboration and data integration in the healthcare sector. Other workshops in which the AIT was involved dealt with innovative care concepts in oncology and the importance of accurate data for healthcare communication.

The AIT experts in the Digital Health Innovation Systems Competence Unit develop innovative technologies and solutions that improve the efficiency and quality of healthcare. Key areas include the use of health data for personalised medicine, the development of digital health applications and the optimisation of care processes. By working closely with clinical partners and participating in events such as the AHF, the AIT makes a significant contribution to the further development of the healthcare system.

Digital Health Community

In 2025, dHealth will take place from 6-7 May and will also be co-organised by AIT. This conference will focus on the latest developments and applications in digital health and offers a further platform for interdisciplinary exchange. With exciting presentations, innovative workshops and numerous networking opportunities, dHealth 2025 promises to provide important impetus for the future of healthcare.
