4TH INTERNATIONAL DATA SCIENCE CONFERENCE (IDSC21)

Okt 20-21
High-level keynotes on agile data science approaches and innovative use cases in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and Production 4.0

From October 20-21, 2021, the 4th edition of the annual Data Science Conference iDSC21, hosted by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, will take place in virtual format. The focus will be on the latest development and technology trends that would not be possible without sound data science. This concerns areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), but also Industry and Production 4.0 and furthermore enables advances in data mining, data analysis as well as data communication. This year's program also includes highly exciting Industry Tracks, in which companies will provide practical insights into new, future-oriented industrial applications. Early bird tickets are available until September 27 at https://idsc.ait.ac.at/. The conference language is English.

International keynotes on the broad development and application spectrum of Data Science

This year, iDSC 2021 will feature 5 top-class keynote speakers who will provide a wide-ranging overview of current data science research and implementation. On the one hand, it is primarily about the controllability of highly complex technical system landscapes, on the other hand, it is about the cyber-physical protection of our increasingly converging and interacting digital networks as well as the targeted ecologization of these industrial backbones. In addition to highly exciting presentations from the Research and Industry Tracks, you can look forward to high-profile keynotes from:

  • Cornelia Schaurecker, Vodafone Group Global Director Big Data & AI
  • Allan Hanbury, Professor for Data Intelligence, Head of E-Commerce Research Unit und Vice Dean of Academic Affairs for Business Informatics an der Fakultät für Informatik der TU Wien
  • Günther Tschabuschnig, CIO at ZAMG - Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik and president of DIO (Data Intelligence Offensive) sowie
