Workshop series on energy data "FAIR AND OPEN METADATA FOR LOW CARBON ENERGY RESEARCH

The EU project EERAdata links existing energy research databases via modern web technologies and provides analysis tools on a community platform.

In the EERAdata WORKSHOP II: "FAIR AND OPEN METADATA FOR LOW CARBON ENERGY RESEARCH", FAIR and open data standards will be developed with the involvement of many database operators, starting with the areas of energy efficiency of buildings, electricity grids, energy-relevant materials, and policy strategies and measures.

This platform supports users in finding the mostly very specific data, enables first data analyses and helps to create standardized metadata to make own research data more visible and usable (FAIR).

The workshop series will be held online from 30.11.-7.12.2020 (participation free of charge). On December 3, a workshop on "Metadata user stories" will be held, led by Manfred Paier, AIT Center for Innovation Systems & Policy.
