Julia Himmelsbach from the Center for Technology Experience presents the project kURAGE at the 10th KIRAS symposium on 21.09. kURAGE is about the research of civil courage and its promotion through playful experiences. In everyday life, situations often arise that require civil courage or assistance. Passers-by* usually have to decide within seconds whether and how they should intervene in a dangerous situation without endangering their own safety. kURAGE: Research into moral courage and its promotion through playful experiences therefore dealt with the question of why people act with civil courage and what barriers there are to this. A goal of the project is it to develop innovative training concepts for civil courage which permit a location-independent and individual use and strengthen by spielerische beginnings intervention authority as well as create consciousness.
