How to test video games

27.08.2020
Guest article by game experience expert Simone Kriglstein in the game column of Profil

Experience is the central factor by which the success of a game is measured. Therefore an early evaluation of the game experience and the correct integration of players from the target group is essential. Our AIT experts from the Center for Technology Experience offer scientifically based evaluations in all project phases of game development: from the initial evaluation of the game idea and the comparison of potential game concepts to the integration of new, exciting forms of interaction and usability, user and game experience playtesting of games and game prototypes.

Simone Kriglstein wrote a guest article for Profil's games column "Spielwiese" in which she explains why the analysis of games is so important and what possibilities and methods are available for testing (video) games.
