During the Annual General Meeting on December 03, the Gregor Mendel Society Vienna elected the AIT expert Eva M. Sehr, Center for Health & Bioresources, as the new Vice President of the Society. In her new function she will support the President Prof. Hermann Bürstmayr in the coming period until 2022.
The Gregor Mendel Society Vienna has the goal to promote the public discussion about hereditary research and organizes scientific symposia and excursions.
