Am Donnerstag 6. Juni 2024 empfing das Center for Digital Safety & Security eine Delegation amerikanischer Journalist:innen, die u.a. die Medien New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The New York Sun und Los Angeles Times vertraten. Kern des Besuchs war eine Informationsoffensive zum Stand der Dinge im Bereich der Entwicklung von Tools für Faktenchecker:innen im Desinformationskontext. Darüber hinaus erfuhren die Besucher:innen auch spannende Einblicke in die Europäische Data Space Initiative Gaia-X sowie die künftige hochsichere Verschlüsselungstechnologie, die auf Quantenkryptografie basieren wird und derzeit für die Markteinführung in Europa vorbereitet wird. Die Vorträge wurden von Ross King, Head of Data Science & AI, Martin Stierle, Head of Security and Communication Technologies sowie Mario Drobics, Head of Cooperative Digital Technologies präsentiert.

On Thursday 6 June 2024, the Center for Digital Safety & Security welcomed a delegation of American journalists representing the New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The New York Sun and Los Angeles Times, among others. The core of the visit was an information offensive on the state of play in the development of tools for fact-checkers in the context of disinformation. In addition, the visitors also gained exciting insights into the European Data Space Initiative Gaia-X and the future high-security encryption technology based on quantum cryptography, which is currently being prepared for market launch in Europe. The presentations were given by Ross King, Head of Data Science & AI, Martin Stierle, Head of Security and Communication Technologies and Mario Drobics, Head of Cooperative Digital Technologies.
