The massive increase in global data transfer requires efficient use of resources. Edge computing, the processing of data directly at the source, is an effective way to save energy and costs and is often the only alternative for time-critical applications.
At the OVE IT Colloquium 2024, current developments in the field of edge computing will be highlighted and applications and technologies used will be brought to the fore.
