COP28
At COP21 in 2015, the world agreed to limit global warming to 1.5°C compared to pre-industrial levels by 2050. To remain on target, science tells us that emissions must be halved by 2030. We only have another seven years to meet that goal. COP28 UAE is a prime opportunity to rethink, reboot, and refocus the climate agenda.
COP28 UAE features two zones. The Blue Zone is a UNFCCC-managed site, open to accredited delegates only. The Green Zone is open to the public and an opportunity for everyone - young, old, wherever you're from - to help make a positive difference to our world. It’s a place for discovery, collaboration and meaningful change. Explore themed areas dedicated to Energy Transition, Technology and Innovation and Youth and enjoy a range of cultural and educational events - and help shape a brighter future for people and planet.
