Planspiel-KSÖ 2021

Design of an IOC-based early warning system

The scope of services includes the technical conceptualisation (based on a given framework scenario), the operational-technical implementation as well as the realisation of a cybersecurity simulation game with representatives from business and public authorities on the AIT Cyber Range CaSTLE with remote integration of teams from Germany and Switzerland. The simulation game will take place in September (20 and 21 September 2021) after mutual agreement. KSÖ, REPUCO and AIT will jointly identify and subsequently fix the suitable premises for the simulation. Due to the prevailing pandemic situation and its currently unforeseeable development, a large gathering of gamblers in Vienna is not expected at the present time. Nevertheless, at least a hybrid event (physical-digital) should enable the success of the two-day event.

For this reason, the AIT is offering the AIT Cyber Range CaSTLE, set up on its premises, as the venue for the game in Vienna and is also providing premises for a VIP support programme (briefings, background discussions, interviews, etc.) for the period of preparation, implementation and follow-up of the two game days.
