Impressive flight and performance shows, Italian passion, Swiss precision and Austrian cutting-edge research - all this and much more was experienced by around 300,000 international visitors at AIPOWER from 2-3-Sept.2022 in Zeltweg/Styria.

In addition to the large arena, AIT colleagues explained to interested visitors
- automated, unmanned aerial vehicles used in environmental disasters,
- state-of-the-art digital communication solutions for emergency forces, e.g. to create common operational pictures in realtime, and sensor solutions for efficient crisis and disaster management,
- latest technologies for light metal processing, such as "Wire-Arc Additive Manufacturing" (WAM) - the wire-based 3D printing of lightweight aircraft parts made of aluminum and magnesium alloys.
